I’ve given it four stars only, but this is (just) because I’ve been using it for a very short period - the last three days. And having tried it last night I found it only reached low thirties mbps - and the app told me that would be okay for streaming movies, BUT NOT for downloading photos or gaming! Which is something I’d like to take up with my internet provider! According to my ongoing contract (including all the annual increments!) I should be getting around 50 - 70 mbps (not exactly sure on actual speed) - but whenever I test the speed my max is never more than 48 mbps. This is something I have only just discovered due to trialing this speed test app. I’ve only just got this app on a “trial basis” (0.49 for the first month - then £7.99 annually) as I’m seriously thinking of getting (meaning needing! ) a “booster” (note - not just an “extender”) for my internet coverage since my internet provider signal strength tends to fluctuate through the day.
